Stuck in a rut? Not feeling like you are growing any? Are you writing it down?
The mind is a powerful thing. If you have a lot on your mind, you are likely to not work as hard in the gym. This is normal and you just have to learn to deal with it by any means that allows you to shed stress from your daily life. That is probably a subject for someone else's blog.
For the positive powers of the mind where this blog is concerned, if your mind knows you lifted 35lbs for 12 repetitions last week, it will likely let you push it for 13 repetitions this week. Or, if you are looking for mass, you mind will let you add 5lbs and still earn 8-10 repetitions.
If your workout has any complexity at all, you need to write it down to reference regularly. Looking back at these numbers, you can know if you are growing or not. If you aren't, it's time to add some muscle confusion to your routine.
WRITE IT DOWN! Then each time you do the same workout, PUSH A LITTLE HARDER! The results will come.
Welcome to my blog. I will be your coach. What a coach does is help to mentor you. When you have fitness or nutrition questions, I will be here to answer them. When you are struggling to push play, let me know and I will help to motivate you. A time will come when food will be an issue, pushing play will be an issue, motivation will be an issue. So it is great to have that to guide you along. Beachbodycoach.com/jeffadams
