Ok: I know I am behind on my Insanity posts. The holidays threw me off and I am doing doubles right now to make up for it. Bear with me and I will tell you about it soon.
I have been worried about diet soda again but for different reasons than it making me fat. Still, this seemed interesting to me when my Bro-in-Law brought it up while home from school where is is learning a lot about medicine.
So I did what anyone does for research these days: I checked what YouTube had to say about it. Turns out Phosphoric Acid leaches many useful things from your body.
This is cause for concern. I need to cut back on coffee...
Welcome to my blog. I will be your coach. What a coach does is help to mentor you. When you have fitness or nutrition questions, I will be here to answer them. When you are struggling to push play, let me know and I will help to motivate you. A time will come when food will be an issue, pushing play will be an issue, motivation will be an issue. So it is great to have that to guide you along. Beachbodycoach.com/jeffadams

Daily Caloric Needs
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am trying harder over the next 60 days to manage my calories better. Shawn T teaches the Harris Benedict Equation which is what the Navy taught me also. Rather than spell it out for you, I found this neat link you can follow.
http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/
The initial calculator is for your Basal Metabolic Rate. You will need to follow the instructions to the Harris-Benedict Equation to find a multiplier for your activity level. Finally, you will be shown how to add or subtract calories to gain or lose weight.
